Fishing For Membership
Hi guys first
off let me start off by saying thank you to all of you for electing me as your membership chairman this year.
As always we do our best to surpass membership each year and this
year is no different. The commander has set a goal for me this year.
It is to get to 17,000 members. I think with everyone's help we can
do this. I am hoping to bring some fun back to membership again this
My theme this year is going to be fishing for membership. We need to
go out to the big oceans, lakes, and small streams and reel in as many
as we can.
Let's have some fun this year I believe when you have fun then the work part of getting membership is not bad at all.
Thanks guys and let's get a boat load of members this year.
February 2017 Update
I want to take this time to thank all of you for the hard work you have been doing on membership.
As of January, we were in 1st place in the East Region and we now have 1 district at over 80% and 2 at over
75 % which is ahead of the February
8th 75% goal. With your continued hard work, we will surpass all of the upcoming goals. Thank
April 2017 Update
Guys so far we are doing a very good job with membership. When we
went to the East Regional unofficial gathering we were the only
detachment there with at least 90%, which is where we needed to be about a
week after that. I would only ask that everyone
continue with membership as we have all year, and we will be at 100%
before you know it. However this last 10% is always the hardest to get.
Now is the time to get out and work a little harder to get the
remaining membership .Use those nets to make sure no
one gets away I have been asking all year long and you have all been
great at getting membership in, There is no sense stopping now.
Please continue making me and all of your districts and squadrons proud. And again thanks for all your hard work.
